The London Borough of Bromley has had its Community Infrastructure Levy Draft Charging Schedule (CIL DCS) found sound by Independent Examiner Keith Holland. The CIL DCS was supported by viability assessment work carried out by the Dixon Searle Partnership. Mr Holland stated “The draft Charging Schedule is supported by detailed evidence of community infrastructure needs and justified by a comprehensive and convincing viability assessment. On this basis, the evidence which has been used to inform the Charging Schedule is robust, proportionate and appropriate”.
Pending approval by full council, the Bromley CIL charging schedule can be adopted. It is envisaged that a report recommending adoption will be taken to the full council meeting on 19 April 2021.
